Season V Academy Fantasia

Drag back to history, EIS Lovers Tournament started about 3 years ago with over 100 athletes taking part. With every passing match and every passing season, athletes of old and new tune on their computer to read upon the updates of EIS Lovers.

With a need to reach a greater audience, the backroom staff has been working hard to satisfy the big crowd. And as it gets bigger and bigger, we have to be more professional.

For Season IV most of our votes are gathered through ballot at courtside. It is an easy way to get the opinions of many on the Season MVP and best player. However, due to each person’s vote is not privacy and those who were un-present were unable to vote, we moved for the global solution of voting online.

The results were as below:

Season V MVP (Most Vulnerable Person)

Pete (Team D)
54% of total vote (Lead 2nd place by 36%)
Games Played 8.00
Points/Game 3.13
Fouls/Game 2.00

With Pete coming into Season V with 4 seasons experience (27 games in hand with an average scoring record of 6.63 per game and a foul average of 2.11 per game), Pete struggled to find his form with Team D in Season V. Looking slower at most games probably due to the great delicious food brought by PA+ Mamalek this season, Pete was unable to digest the food in time. Results were his failure to both secure himself in his scoring position and also unable to catch up on opponents to foul them. Anyways, Pete might have the last laugh with each match going home FULL STOMACH.

Season V Best Player

Vikram (Team C)
30% of total vote (Lead 2nd place by 7%)
Games Played 6.00
Points/Game 23.50
Fouls/Game 2.17

Edging PA+ Mamalek by one vote, Vikram who led Team C for his second consecutive championship is truly worthy of the Best Player for Season V. After his marriage, many doubt his ability as his physique was going outbound. But to the amazement of many, Vikram came back stronger and tougher with an additional +0.53 fouls/game and hitting the target +3.81 points/game. As said, “Never underestimate the heart of a married man”, Vikram had shown the world how marriage has developed his game. Ho. Ho. Ho.

Season VI Policy

After voting on when to start Season VI, 75% voted to start as soon as possible with another 18% voting for it to start the coming month.

While our draft policy, 66% of the people voted on choosing your own team, while 16% voted on draft pick by position.

How and when our season VI bodes…you’re just have to wait and see.

Poll Results
Best 2 tower partnership

Team C: Mark & Vikram (37%)
With both of the players possessing height and able to knock shots both inside and outside the perimeter, the two agile centers surely pose the most threat last season as they led Team C to the Championship this season.

Best 2 small partnership
Team B: Bank & Kim (42%)
These two pals are led the scoring charts during the regular season, with Bank hitting numerous 3s and Kim making many mid-range jumpers. It's just too bad their form faded late in the season and the playoffs, else they're the biggest hit of the season.
